This CLE conference will cover exciting and interesting topics, such as renunciation of US citizenship (mock interview); changes following the repeal of DOMA; visas for artists and entertainers; visas for students and scholars; updates from many US consular posts, and many more! The dinner before the conference will be held on the 19th of November in the Officers' Dining Room on board the HMS Belfast. The price of £90 per person will include a lovely 3-course meal, a welcome drink, wine and gratuity as well as music from the 1940s and a tour of this magnificent vessel. The conference itself will take place at the Royal Institution of Great Britain on the 20th of November. The conference fee of £175 (or £200 after 25th October) includes the CLE session, breakfast, tee/coffee breaks, a fantastic lunch and Wi-Fi access. As an optional event for those who would like to spend a bit more time enjoying the company of our colleagues in a truly remarkable setting, we are excited to invite you to a wine tasting at The Haciendas Club at Zorita's Kitchen on the River Thames on the evening of the 20th of November. For £45 per person, this event will include a tasting of 5 selected Spanish wines given (in an informal fashion) by the club's sommelier and will be accompanied by a selection of fine Spanish meats and cheeses. Whether you have dinner plans after the conference or want to make an evening of exploring London, we hope that you will join us for a chance to network and try some truly memorable wines in a unique setting.
