Don't miss the opportunity to meet with and learn from nationally-recognized experts. Get to know your fellow practitioners from around the state and hear how they are dealing with tough issues. A keynote presentation will review and analyze what the future holds for immigration issues after the election. New this year is an expanded optional Wednesday pre-conference session entitled Fundamentals of Immigration and Nationality Law. This session is ideal for new practitioners or as a refresher for experienced practitioners. The main program includes longer sessions designed to leave practitioners with tools, forms, tips and guidance on key decision points and strategies in family-based immigration cases and employment-based immigration cases, and the increasing importance of removal and relief from removal.
- CLE Credit Comments: Texas MCLE: Credit is submitted to the State Bar of Texas within seven business days following the conference. To claim immediate credit, self-report via the SBOT web site at http://www.texasbarcle.com/CLE/home.asp Legal Specialization Expected: Immigration/Naturalization Law, Criminal Law California MCLE: Provider #1944 This course is approved for California MCLE credit. A Certificate of Completion and related course reporting documentation for CA MCLE credit will be available at the conference. See CA Report Compliance for more information. Other Jurisdictions: LA, NM, OK, NV, etc. Many jurisdictions accept courses offered by the University of Texas School of Law, and approved by the State Bar of Texas, for CLE credit. Please check with your state bar association. A Certificate of Completion, and related course reporting documentation for MCLE credit will be available at the conference.
