Established in 1972, the mission of Centro La Familia Advocacy Services (CLFA) is to “provide services that empower and support families and individuals in our culturally diverse community.” As a trusted service organization, CLFA provides direct advocacy, crisis intervention and outreach education services to urban and rural communities in California’s Central Valley. CLFA provides essential services to low-income, Latino, often immigrant, non-English speaking, individuals and families. CLFA is led by its Executive Director who oversees the agency and is supported by a Deputy Director, Operations Director, two Site Directors, and seven Managers who oversee 80 staff members in five core departments: Family Strengthening, Health & Wellness, Victim Services, Immigration, and Policy & Leadership Development. CLFA has over 45 years of experience as a provider of full continuum services, which include outreach, engagement, prevention, intervention, counseling and advocacy services to a culturally diverse population.
