Legal Aid of West Virginia
With 150 full-time staff in 12 offices across West Virginia, Legal Aid of West Virginia (LAWV) is the state's primary provider of civil legal aid and advocacy services. Our mission is to ensure that the most vulnerable among us: low-income families, seniors, victims of domestic violence, and the disabled have an equal shot at justice, in the courtroom and in their communities. Legal Aid also provides behavioral health advocacy and Ombudsman services for nursing home residents.
