FIRC works with low-income, non-citizen children and families across North Florida, South Georgia, and South Alabama to overcome barriers to economic and social justice. FIRC’s mission is to promote and protect the basic human rights of non-citizens through a combination of free or low fee direct services, impact litigation, policy reform, and community outreach.

Areas of immigration legal assistance: Adjustment of Status, Asylum applications, Consular Processing, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Employment authorization, Family-based petitions, Naturalization/Citizenship, Removal hearings, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, T visas, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), U visas, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions
Populations served: Domestic Violence Victims, Human Trafficking Survivors, Torture survivors
