Public Counsel provides pro bono legal services to low-income and indigent clients in a variety of legal areas. Its Immigrants' Rights Project ("IRP") represents immigrants before USCIS, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The majority of our immigration work involves representation of non-citizens seeking Asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, U Visas, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The IRP is also engaged in impact litigation to protect the rights of non-citizens.
