Jackson Heights Immigrant Center (J.H.I.C) helps newly arrived families with asylum applications and adjusting to their new life here in the United States. Attorney Nuala O'Doherty-Naranjo leads a group of students and volunteers who work one-on-one with families to guide them as they begin the asylum process. ----- Jackson Heights Immigrant Center (J.H.I.C) ayuda a las familias recién llegadas con solicitudes de asilo y a adaptarse a su nueva vida aquí en los Estados Unidos.
