GMHC is one of the leading providers of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and advocacy. GMHC provides immigration legal services to all clients regardless of HIV status.

Areas of immigration legal assistance: Adjustment of Status, Asylum applications, Employment authorization, Family-based petitions, NACARA, Naturalization/Citizenship, Removal hearings, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions
Types of immigration legal services provided: Help completing forms, Filings with USCIS, Representation at Asylum Interviews (Credible Fear Interviews, Reasonable Fear Interviews), Representation before the Immigration Court
Other areas of legal assistance: Disability, Housing, Public Benefits
Non-legal services: Administrative advocacy (CIS/ICE/CBP), Employment services, Health services, Legislative advocacy (state or national), Psychological or psychiatric services, Referrals to other services, Social services
