HIAS provides legal services and representation to immigrants in the New York Metropolitan area. HIAS can provide assistance with applications for Humanitarian Parole, Military Parole in Place, Adjustment of Status, Employment Authorization, Refugee/Asylee Relative Petitions, Naturalization, Certificate of Citizenship, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and other forms of Humanitarian Relief. HIAS attorneys and accredited representatives represent individuals in Removal Proceedings, before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), before the Asylum Office, and before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). Referrals to pro bono legal services outside the New York Metropolitan area are also available.
