Justice For Our Neighbors (DC-MD Office - Rockville)
Justice For Our Neighbors (JFON) provides free legal services to low-income immigrants. DC-Maryland JFON is part of the larger Justice for Our Neighbors network, which has 16 locations throughout the United States, each of which holds a series of legal clinics at different locations throughout their regions.
The main office of DC-MD Justice for Our Neighbors is in Rockville, Maryland. The Rockville office works with immigration legal clinics (except during the Covid 19 pandemic) to review potential new clients who are seekimg advice and counsel and find out if they have a case that can be taken. If the immigration attorney determines the client has a case at the clinic consultation, an appointment will be set up at the office to begin working on the case. Potential clients must make an appointment to come to the clinics; the clinics are not drop-in. Potential clients must first come to a clinic in order to meet with the attorney.
