Field Support Officer, World Relief

Position:

This position will be responsible for providing support to World Relief Immigration Legal Services (ILS) programs across the World Relief national network of legal service providers. These programs serve low-income community members in accessing immigration legal representation. The position will provide case management and program development assistance to programs. This position is responsible for working alongside the Director in assessing and supporting quality service delivery, programming, and assure compliance with agency, community, and funder standards for all field office legal service programs. This includes consulting with ILS Program Managers and Office Directors regarding staff and intern supervision, grant and budget management, program implementation, interdepartmental collaboration, and coordination of services to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the Director, develop systems and policies to strengthen and maintain World Relief and church-based ILS programs
  • Conduct consistent on-site and remote program assessments to assure adherence to organizational and industry standards of legal service delivery and to collect data on program quality and health
  • Assist programs in developing procedures and procedures to implement organizational and industry standards
  • Produce program management trainings and written resources on various topics, including policy, immigration law, practice and procedure, etc.
  • Distribute informational materials through collaborative on-line platforms
  • Act as technical support for electronic case management system, LawLogix
  • Provide direct program support, as needed including grant reporting, case based assistance and fund development including data collection for grants management and reporting
  • Collaborate with the Technical Support Manager for immigration substantive technical support to WR programs
  • Collaborate with the Capacity Building Manager for DOJ accreditation for program staff
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Domestic travel required

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Attorney or DOJ Accredited Representative (preferably with full accreditation)
  • Knowledge and understanding of immigration law and legal service systems
  • Previous program management experience required
  • Previous cross-cultural experience required
  • Personal Christian faith and a desire to serve marginalized people
  • Committed to the mission, vision and values of World Relief
