Positions:

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services is hiring for the following positions:

  • (2) Two Immigration Attorneys
  • (1) Migrant Children & Families Advocacy Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Immigration Attorneys are to provide technical assistance to our resettlement partners. The positions are temporary and funded through Sept 2022. LIRS is particularly keen to hire attorneys with relevant cultural and linguistic capabilities.
  • The Migrant Children & Families Advocacy Officer will work as part of LIRS' fast-paced advocacy team by helping LIRS to advance its public policy and regulatory efforts in support of migrant children and asylum-seekers impacted by US Government immigration policy. This is a full-time position based in Washington, D.C.
