Introduction to Trauma-Informed Interviewing for Pro Bono Attorneys Working with Immigrant Children

The American Bar Association (ABA) Children's Immigration Law Academy (CILA) invites you to join us for the 90-minute training, "Introduction to Trauma-Informed Interviewing for Pro Bono Attorneys Working with Immigrant Children," specifically geared to pro bono attorneys working with unaccompanied immigrant children and those interested in working pro bono on immigrant children's legal cases. Rachel Konrad and Rebecca Stanislaw, immigration attorneys with extensive experience, will discuss the need to engage in trauma-informed lawyering when working with unaccompanied children. This presentation will focus on best practices related to child-centered representation and provide practical tips to incorporate into your representation. While this training was prepared for pro bono attorneys, nonprofit attorneys, legal staff, and social services staff working with immigrant youth are also welcome to attend.
