Webinar Series: Selected Issues in U Nonimmigrant Status

In week one, students will focus on U status eligibility issues related to qualifying crimes, definition of victim, proving physical and mental harm, and obtaining law enforcement certifications. Presenters will also discuss considerations for clients on the waiting list, including life changes and newly acquired grounds of inadmissibility. Finally, they will discuss options for clients who are in removal proceedings.
