The Advocates for Human Rights is hosting a training called "Combatting Racism and Fighting for Justice for Central American Migrants, at the Border and at Home". This training will cover how to best represent and support Central American asylum seekers. It is best suited for volunteer attorneys, interpreters, and faith communities seeking to accompany asylum seekers.

• Overview of Central American migration: push factors and U.S. response from 2014-today
• Witness testimony (Hear from volunteers who have worked with asylum seekers at the border and in Minnesota regarding the challenges facing their clients and their strategies for success)
• Overview of the basics of asylum law, how asylum seekers can seek this protection, and the challenges they face in doing so
• Ways to support asylum seekers in your community
