This fundamental level program will provide attorneys with the skills they will need to represent a client through the naturalization interview process in front of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security-USCIS. It will focus on the interview itself including the review of the application, the civics questions, and the English test. Materials will be provided for practitioners to assist their clients in preparing for this process. Thanks to the John A. Meehan Citizenship Institute, a limited number of volunteer attorneys who agree to conduct mock interviews with naturalization preparation class students at CCAC pro bono may register and attend at no cost. Upon completion of the CLE, the volunteer attorneys will be asked to assist in future naturalization preparation classes.
