UNHCR is excited to announce an upcoming webinar, Representing Stateless People Before U.S. Immigration Authorities: Motions to Reopen. The webinar will take place Wednesday, February 21st from 2-3:30pm EST, with presentations by UNHCR and Catholic Charities. Speakers on the webinar will discuss:

• UNHCR’s Stateless Representation Manual: What it covers and how it can be used to represent  stateless persons before U.S. immigration authorities (Lindsay Jenkins, Assistant Protection Associate at UNHCR);
• Motions to Reopen: How to use this tool in cases involving statelessness, with a special focus on theories related to asylum claims (Jodi Ziesemer, Supervising Attorney at Catholic Charities and Brett Stark, Legal Director at Terra Firma, Catholic Charities)
