The first part of this two-hour CLE will offer presentations by the panel of three experts, followed by a Q & A and sharing of "tips." Sheila Stulman, immigration attorney, will present on “Matter of Mohamed” and "safe" pleas or settlements related to criminal charges. Dan Homstad, a criminal law practitioner, will present on the law related to DWIs, and attorney Bruce Nestor, who practices both criminal defense and immigration, will present on Post-Conviction Relief. The Q & A portion of the event will be moderated by Max Keller, Chair of the Criminal Law Section, and M. Graciela Gonzalez, a criminal defense and immigration attorney, and a member of the Immigration Law Council. Appetizers and wine will be served right before and during the event.
