Learn about common immigration issues facing low-income non-citizen clients. The session will introduce the immigration process and common issues including highlighting red flags for attorneys unfamiliar with immigration law. Participants will learn how to spot key issues, make appropriate referrals, and work with clients with different cultural and language backgrounds. Presented by Emily Good, staff attorney with The Advocates' Research, Education, & Advocacy program.
