The New York Immigration Coalition asked Professor Katherine Fennelly to prepare a report on how nonprofit organizations and the legal community can prepare for comprehensive immigration reform. She will share some of her findings about how the New York community mobilized for past reforms. Professor Lenni Benson will discuss the Safe Passage Project, a nonprofit pro bono clearing house she built with New York Law School as a means of expanding support for pro bono attorneys and law students serving immigrant populations.
