  • Mandatory Immigration Detention for Crimes: What convictions will trigger mandatory detention during removal proceedings, and how to obtain respondents' release.
  • Working with Criminal Counsel to Obtain Client's Release From Criminal and Immigration Custody: When criminal counsel should try to obtain client's release from criminal custody, and how to help criminal counsel arrange a disposition that will allow the client to avoid mandatory immigration detention, so the client can be released from an immigration hold to serve a noncustodial criminal disposition.
