The International Refugee Assistance Project issued update regarding the settlement in their lawsuit S.A. v. Trump and the government’s agreement to re-open processing of the Central American Minors parole program for the approximately 2,700 individuals (children and derivative relatives) who were conditionally approved for parole at the time the Trump Administration shut it down in August 2017. Per the government’s implementation plan, the government has started reaching out to the U.S.-based parents whose cases will be re-opened under the agreement. Redacted Notice attached.
