How Vague Gang Allegations Impact Relief & Bond for Immigrant New Yorkers

In addition to helping practitioners respond to gang allegations, we hope that the findings and
trends we highlight here will support efforts by advocates, schools, and elected officials to limit the information that local agencies share with ICE and that schools share with School Resource Officers, and to implement laws and policies to ensure that information entered into gang databases is adequately vetted and reviewed.
