Council of Peoples Organization (COPO) is a non-profit organization that assists low-income immigrant families to reach their full potential as residents of New York City. COPO serves over 35,000 people annually, with a staff and volunteer base of more than 125, including a legal team that offers immigration-related legal services. COPO is partially funded by NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA) and Project Open Arms.
