Somos Hispanas Unidas Silverton (SHUS) is a 501(c)(3) IRS Federal Income Tax Exempt nonprofit organization and Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) Recognized Organization that unites and empowers Hispanic families to become involved in their communities. Since 2001, SHUS members have been active in community affairs, working to raise the social, economic and immigration status of Hispanics families. As the only nonprofit Hispanic group within the Silverton / Mount Angel area, our members are working to protect and promote the equality of Hispanic women and families.
