Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) assists, empowers and strengthens individuals and families through quality programs and services based on respect for life, individual responsibility, and human dignity, consistent with Catholic Social Teaching. Within CCSEM, The Office of Immigration and Refugee Services' (OIRS) mission is threefold: To welcome immigrants and refugees home; support their transition to US Citizenship and; to maximize their potential for self-sufficiency and success. CCSEM OIRS also provides in-house family based immigration legal services.
