Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Inc. (LSEM) has provided high-quality civil legal assistance and equal access to justice for low-income people in 21 counties in Eastern Missouri for over 50 years. Our immigration law program has extensive experience assisting immigrant crime victims with securing T and U non-immigrant status, and VAWA Self-Petitions. We also have vast experience helping refugees and asylees with securing adjustment of status, work authorizations, and becoming naturalized U.S. citizens, thus aiding new Americans to achieve long term solutions that allow them to live healthy stable lives.

Other information: Drop-ins on Monday and Wednesday. Services are subject to LSC funding restrictions. In some very limited cases, we are able to assist with DACA/DAPA applications, where the applicant or her child has been the victim of domestic violence, battery, extreme cruelty, sexual assault, human trafficking, or other U-Visa crime. We can also assist DACA/DAPA applicants who have a pending or approved I-130 Relative Visa petition if the applicant is the spouse, parent, or child of a U.S. Citizen.
