The Binational Institute of Human Development (BIHD) is a non-profit organization with a clear mission – to empower and integrate the immigrant community and other marginalized groups into American society. We strive to achieve our mission through efficient, effective, and sensitive programs and services. As an organization, we serve as a bridge between institutions, governmental agencies, corporations, and the communities we serve, advocating for equality in education, healthcare, human rights, and economic development. Our main programs, the Immigration & Legal Center, Casa Mexico-USA, Casa Guatemala-USA, and our Small Business Development Center, are designed to address the specific needs of our communities and provide them with the resources they need to thrive. At BIHD, we are committed to creating a more just and equitable society for all.
