OCA-Greater Houston provides Legal Permanent Residents (green card holders) free help with citizenship applications, including one-on-one consultations with immigration specialists and attorneys.
If you have been a Legal Permanent Resident (“LPR”, a.k.a. Green Card holder) for 5 years (or 3 years if based on marriage to a U.S. Citizen), you can apply for U.S. Citizenship. We suggest you start preparing your application 4 to 5 months before your 5-year or 3-year date of receiving your LPR Status.
We hold monthly citizenship assistance workshops on the 1st Saturday each month (excluding holiday weekends), 9am–12noon. We are located in Houston Chinatown at 7001 Corporate Dr, Ste 213a, Houston, TX 77036 (in the same building as Hope Clinic).
For more information, please call our main number (English only) at 281-968-9131 or our Chinese language number at 832-997-1895.
