 hildren's Services (JFCS) on a training about work
 ing with Ukrainian refugees. This training will eq
 uip legal practitioners with culturally competent,
  trauma-informed tools to improve legal outcomes a
 nd client trust for Ukrainians and Russian-speakin
 g asylum seekers affected by war. 
  
 Our prese
 nters will provide best practices specifically tai
 lored to the cultural dynamics, trauma expressions
 , and trust barriers unique to post-Soviet populat
 ions - making sure practitioners can provide effec
 tive and ethical representation. 
  
 This train
 ing will also provide an overview of eligibility f
 or asylum, and how persecution can be demonstrated
  in a client's declaration. Attendees will gain in
 sights from immigration practitioners, non-profit 
 caseworkers, and clinical psychologists on how bes
 t to serve the populations most impacted by the wa
 r in Ukraine.
