Considerations When Filing Motions to Reopen

For many clients with unexecuted removal orders, a motion to reopen may be the only option for moving forward with an application for relief, such as adjustment of status.  However, filing a motion to reopen today comes with more risks than it did in the past. This webinar will discuss recent changes in DHS and EOIR policy and practice that advocates and clients should consider before filing a motion to reopen with EOIR. We will also offer practical tips for assessing risk and advising clients considering a motion to reopen in the current environment.
