Hybrid Workshops: Exploring Workshop Innovations and Considering the Future of the Group Application Assistance Model

Topics:
  • Advocacy

Over the past two years, many non-profit legal service providers shifted their naturalization workshop models to be virtual, while others did their best to provide socially distant in-person workshops. Both models have distinct advantages but also limit who can participate. Recently, some legal service providers have begun conducting hybrid workshops, allowing some groups of clients and volunteers to participate virtually while others attend at an in-person location. Join CLINIC staff and legal immigration practitioners as they discuss their naturalization hybrid workshop models. Speakers will address the advantages and challenges of the hybrid model and offer their thoughts on what the future of workshops might look like.
