  • T Visas
  • U Visas

Please join the CBJC Immigrant Justice Project for a virtual lunch and learn important immigration updates and practice pointers for U and T visa cases. In the past six months, significant shifts in immigration policy for Us and Ts have been announced, affecting both new and existing cases. The new Bona Fide Determination process provides a rapid route to work authorization and deferred action; the revived Central American Minors program will allow separated families to unite with children still abroad. Meanwhile, USCIS continues to issue requests for evidence and denials, requiring additional advocacy and evidence collection. This training will provide critical updates and practical tips for how to best advocate for your client—or feel empowered to take on a new case.
