This training will detail recognition and accreditation, the Department of Justice (DOJ) certification that allows non-attorney staff and volunteers with non-profit agencies to provide immigration legal services and represent clients before agencies of DHS. They will discuss the requirements and process for submitting both new and renewal applications for DOJ recognition for non-profit organizations and DOJ accreditation for the organization’s staff.

This webinar will touch on the two different versions of Forms EOIR-31 and EOIR-31A, applications for recognition and accreditation, and the NYIC's recommendations regarding which versions of the forms to complete if applying for DOJ R&A in the near future.
