Topics:
  • Detention
  • Other Immigration

People don't need to be locked up in detention while trying to navigate the complex U.S. immigration system.  A better, more humane approach exists--often in people's own communities.

Join experts from the American Immigration Council and Women's Refugee Commission for a webinar on their extensive survey of service providers and accompanying fact sheet, “Community Support for Migrants Navigating the U.S. Immigration System." They spoke with nearly 250 nonprofit organizations across the country to assess the type of services they provide--such as legal, housing, transportation, social, and medical support--and what they need to continue this important work.
