  • Immigration Court

* This is the second in a four-part series (10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5).

This webinar will explore the legal standard of "extreme hardship," whose meaning derives from case law and is central to many of the inadmissibility waivers. We will discuss the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ 2016 guidance on extreme hardship and how that has changed waiver adjudication. The presenters will also discuss how discretion plays a role in the adjudication of a waiver application.
