Public Charge for Immigration Practitioners

This hour-long CLE training is geared towards attorneys and DOJ accredited representatives and will review the details of the final Public Charge rule, who it will affect, and how to proceed with clients who might be impacted. We will also discuss New York-specific considerations with regards to the public benefits that are implicated.  This training will presume a solid foundation in immigration law, and is only appropriate for those directly representing clients in immigration cases. This training will be led by Meredith Fortin, Director, Immigrant Services Support, New York Immigration Coalition.
