Trafficking Client Considerations: Family Reunification, Cultural Competency and Other Benefits

The aim of this training is to learn about working with T visa clients and issues incident to the T visa process. This training will provide a brief overview of labor trafficking and the immigration relief available for survivors, the T-visa. We will present on the process of family reunification when the qualifying family members live abroad and the Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (TVAP) in Minnesota. Additionally, you will learn about cultural sensitivity when working with foreign national clients, especially those having experienced trauma from trafficking.
