In this webinar, we will discuss the barriers youth encounter when pursuing SIJS after the age of 18 both in state courts and before USCIS and offer practice tips for overcoming these barriers. The webinar will feature guest speakers litigating the New York and California class action lawsuits challenging USCIS’s recent denials of many over-18 cases. The presenters for this event will be ILRC attorneys Rachel Prandini and Mary Tanagho Ross, as well as the Legal Aid Society Immigrant Youth Project's Elizabeth Rieser-Murphy and Tina Romero.
