Asylum seekers are facing unprecedented hurdles to presenting their claims in the United States. This training will begin with an update from Luis Guerra, a Strategic Capacity Officer for CLINIC who has been working with asylum seekers in Tijuana with Al Otro Lado. We will then discuss efforts by the administration to restrict access to asylum, as well as litigation challenging these restrictions.
