This webinar is part of the four-part  "Webinar Series on Cancellation of Removal." Women and men in removal proceedings who have been the victim of abuse by a U.S. citizen or LPR parent or spouse may be eligible for a special form of cancellation of removal. This webinar will cover the eligibility requirements and special rules that apply to victims of domestic violence. CLINIC attorneys Reena Arya and Rebecca Scholtz will  discuss what types of abuse qualify, how to prove that the abuse happened, and how to demonstrate extreme hardship. The webinar will also include a discussion of special considerations for working with survivors of abuse.
