This training will provide an in-depth analysis of the U visa, a particular type of immigration relief available to immigrant victims of serious crimes. Attendees will learn about who is eligible for a U Visa, the benefits that accompany the visa, details about the required law enforcement certification, available waivers of certain grounds of inadmissibility, the filing requirements, and subsequent adjustment of status for U visa holders. This webinar will be conducted by Suzanne Tomatore, Co-Director of the Immigrant Justice Project at the City Bar Justice Center.
