On January 22 & 23, hundreds of New York State's immigrant community leaders will converge in Albany for the first-ever New York Immigration Coalition Member Congress: Strengthening Immigrant NY. The New York Immigration Coalition envisions a New York State that is stronger because all people are welcome, treated fairly, and given the chance to pursue their dreams. The Member Congress will unite NYIC members and partner organizations from all corners of the state to design and build the statewide strategy and movement needed to achieve our vision together. Strengthening Immigrant NY will be a two-day collaborative process dedicated to deep dives into priority issues, policy solutions, advocacy strategies, and power building. This process builds upon the input gathered from members, partners, and community leaders through NYIC regional round tables, member surveys, and countless conversations with stakeholders across New York and the United States. We will leave the Congress a stronger coalition with our shared blueprint to guide our movement together over the next five years. Your voice and experience is critical to our collective success. We look forward to seeing you there!
