Issue Spotting at General Immigration Clinics

Topics:
  • Advocacy

The NYCIAI, a collaborative effort of the City Bar Justice Center, American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), with the support of Fragomen, Del Rey Bernsen & Loewy, LLP is pleased to announce a FREE CLE training opportunity for attorneys interested in participating in NYCIAI clinics.  NYCIAI clinics provide indigent community members the opportunity to discuss their immigration concerns with a volunteer immigration attorney. In this training you will learn about substantive immigration topics, including humanitarian relief, criminal-immigration issues, and other areas most likely to come up during our immigration clinics. You will also learn about red flags and other important issue spotting tips from substantive immigration experts.

Registration:
Please RSVP to the Fragomen Fellow, Caitlin Miner-Le Grand at cminer-legrand@nycbar.org.
