Please join the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies (CGRS) - California on September 28, 2017 at the Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino for a free MCLE training on Screening for Asylum Eligibility. This training is applicable to attorneys and legal staff working with immigrants who are interested in learning the basic elements of asylum law as well as how to screen for asylum eligibility during the intake process and to make suitable referrals. The training will provide attendees with tools to screen for asylum eligibility as a potential form of immigration relief and provide an overview on the benefits of asylum. No prior knowledge or background of immigration law is required.
