Secondary trauma is a common consequence of listening to and witnessing the effects of others' traumatic experiences. Attorneys and other service providers who work with unaccompanied minor immigrants are exposed to a great deal of content that can trigger this kind of stress. This webinar will define primary and secondary trauma, explain how to recognize signs of secondary trauma in oneself and colleagues, and identify healthy ways to respond. The webinar will be interactive, drawing on participants' experiences, practices and ideas.
