Catholic Charities Community Services at the Immigration Court Helpdesk will be holding a training for new volunteers on the basics of immigration law and what to expect during our screening days and asylum Self-Help Workshops. The training will be held at Catholic Charities' offices and will be a repeat of our previous Immigration Court Helpdesk trainings. During this training, we will review asylum and other forms of relief from deportation, explain the workshops' format and logistics, and provide detail about your roles while volunteering with us.
