CLINIC works tirelessly for and with our immigrant brothers and sisters to ensure they live safely and with dignity. In the midst of a troubling political climate in which immigrant communities have been targeted, it is more important than ever that we continue our strong advocacy and insist upon compassionate and wise policies that promote a welcoming America for all. Our families, towns, and this country are all strengthened when immigrants are given the opportunity to be fully integrated into our communities. CLINIC’s annual Convening is the premier training event for those seeking to increase their knowledge of immigration law, advocacy and successful program management techniques. Join us May 24-26 in Atlanta, Georgia as we gather with fellow advocates and service providers to share strategies, enhance expertise, and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Topics:

  • Introductory and advanced immigration legal topics including family based immigration, grounds of inadmissibility and U visas
  • Updates on Immigration Policy in the Trump Administration
  • Promoting immigrant integration
  • Media strategies
  • State and local initiatives
  • The ins and outs of religious immigration law
  • In-depth management techniques for successful immigration legal programs
