Open “Case Rounds” and Q & A on U Visas & VAWA

Topics:
  • Abused Spouses and Children/VAWA
  • U Visas

Please join us for a unique “case rounds” discussion followed by Q & A on U Visas and VAWA, and a discussion of how to fight anticipated legislative attacks on immigrant survivors. ASISTA Executive Director Gail Pendleton, Senior Policy Counsel Cecelia Friedman Levin, and We Belong Together’s Advocacy Director, Sameera Hafiz, will conduct an interactive discussion of common U and VAWA case issues, provide practice pointers, and answer Q & A, including how you can help fight anticipated attacks on immigrant survivors and immigrants generally in the next few years. To ensure we cover your most pressing issues, please fill out this question form ahead of time. We will also address questions that arise during the webinar and will attempt to encourage discussion among participants, subject to technological constraints.
