Mentors from Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) will provide an overview of the child migrant crisis and how pro bono attorneys can defend against their clients' deportation and secure legal status through Asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. In addition to sharing best practices before USCIS, Immigration Court, and Family Court, KIND will describe its comprehensive mentorship program for pro bono attorneys to ensure confident, quality representation.
